The 3rd/5th Cavalry Vietnam Black Knights Association.

    Is a not-for-profit military unit Association which has been incorporated in Florida since March 7,1988. Membership is open to veterans of service with the 3rd Squadron, 5th U.S. Cavalry Regiment in Vietnam. The biennial membership fee is $50.00 payable by Cash or Check made out to the Black Knights.

    The dues period is from the September after a Squadron reunion to the September after the next Reunion . The Association maintains a list of addresses of veterans who served with the 3rd/5th Cav in Vietnam. Any 3/5 Cav veteran who wishes to do so is encouraged to provide his information to any Squadron officer. Membership and Information forms can be accessed with the links below. A newsletter is sent to dues paying members of the Association only,if you are a family member of any Veteran that served with the Black Knights and wish to receive a PDF Version of the newsletter please contact any Officer of the Association. Addresses of 3/5 Cav veterans who wish to be contacted by former comrades in arms are available to dues paying members of the Association upon request. This does not include the entire membership list, but rather is limited to the period in which the veteran served. These addresses are not released for other purposes and are not released except to members of the Association. Any veteran of 3/5 Cav is welcome to post his e-mail address and other contact information in the guest book on the Black Knight website; with the caveat that all information so posted is accessible by anyone and everyone with a Computer.

    All Troopers are encouraged to share their own collection of photos taken during their tour of duty in Nam which will be placed in a Photo Gallery bearing their name, and the name of anyone they remember in the photo with and the date(s) of their time in Vietnam.     You will find copies of many Combat After Action Reports and Lessons Learned (COAAR & LLs), Areas of Operation, Photo Galleries various 3/5 Troopers have which show their photos taken while they were in Vietnam, a plethora of memories. Also, there is our "Wall of Honor" aka the Casualty Page which lists all of our fallen Brothers Killed in Vietnam, Fiddlers Green is a list of our Brothers that have passed sense we have returned .
