The purpose of the Black Knights Association is to continue the time honored tradition of the 5th U.S. Cavalry. To honor its fallen troopers and help the living; while maintaining its long and proud history of "LEST WE FORGET".

Our association was born with and continues to be guided by one very simple concept that was felt by all the Black Knight Troopers who attended the very first reunion in Fredericksburg Virginia June, 1987: "We Looked out for each other during combat duty in the jungles of Vietnam, and see no reason to stop just because we are back, safe in "The World"! BLACK KNIGHTS!
